Chairman Yan Zhangjian of QLTEK Heads to Europe for Strategic Business Visit (Part II)
From June 24 to 25, Mr. Yan Zhangjian, Chairman of QLTEK and President of the Yancheng Chamber of Commerce in Suzhou City, led a delegation to visit Romanian Secretary of State Mr. József Mihály and Mr. Virgiliu Daniel NANU, President of the Prahova County Council, along with the county governor. The delegation held a China-Romania Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum with local business representatives, and strengthen industry collaboration through fiber laser innovation.

The business delegation focused on promoting cooperation in areas such as metal manufacturing, industrial automation and intelligent laser technology.
Prahova County is one of Romania‘s largest industrial regions and a key petroleum refining center. In recent years, its county council has formulated development strategies to guide the upgrading and diversification of its petrochemical and other advantageous industries. At the same time, it has promoted industrial structure optimization through policy support, actively attracting investment and expanding international cooperation. To improve the business environment, Prahova County has taken continuous measures to standardize market order and enhance governmental administrative efficiency, fully supporting the county‘s high-quality economic development.
Chairman Yan Zhangjian and his delegation held in-depth discussions with County Council President Virgiliu Daniel NANU, local leaders, and business representatives on topics such as industrial upgrading, structural optimization, and China-Romania economic and trade development, jointly exploring multi-level, multi-sector cooperation models.
After the forum, the mayor invited the delegation to experience authentic Eastern European cuisine and local cultural traditions. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere further strengthened the emotional ties between Chinese and Romanian governments and enterprises, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation across various sectors and levels.
On June 25, the delegation visited Romanian Secretary of State Mr. József Mihály and senior officials from relevant departments, engaging in a warm and in-depth discussion.
Mr. Mihály warmly welcomed the delegation‘s visit and stated that Romania is actively promoting the digital transformation of its manufacturing sector. He expressed a strong interest in introducing China‘s advanced automated metal processing technology and high-speed laser cutting equipment, in line with Romania’s push to digitalize industry, deepening supply chain cooperation, and exploring innovative collaboration models to jointly forge new paths for coordinated development.
During the meeting, both sides engaged in comprehensive discussions on industrial manufacturing, cross-border trade, and further economic cooperation.
This European business visit highlighted QLTEK’s focus on intelligent manufacturing and industrial synergy. By establishing direct connections with key industrial regions in Europe, the company deepened practical cooperation through face-to-face engagement.
